NEXT MEETING - Tuesday 26th April from 12 noon to 2pm

BOOKS that you may like to read before that date are:-

The Tea Planter’s Wife by Dinah Jefferies. A haunting portrait of a woman forced to choose between her duty as a wife and her instinct as a mother…This is a story of guilt, betrayal and untold secrets vividly and entrancingly set in colonial era Ceylon.

The People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks. An Australian rare-book expert, is offered the job of a lifetime: analysis and conservation of the famed Sarajevo Haggadah. Explore the history of this illuminated manuscript. Fascinating.

Come and tell us what you think.
