In the Café of The Octagon Theatre, Yeovil

Do you enjoy reading a good book?

NEXT MEETING - Tuesday 17th May from 12 noon to 2pm

BOOKS that you may like to read before that date are:-

The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George. On a beautifully restored barge on the Seine, there is a bookshop, or rather a ‘literary apothecary’. The bookseller possesses the rare gift of finding the right book to soothe the troubled souls of his customers. A true gem for fiction lovers.

The Noise of Time by Julian Barnes. This novel is a gripping fictionalised account of the composer Shostakovich’s life, and the anguished compromises he made to survive Stalin.

Come and tell us what you think.
