Yeovil Creative Writers is a group that meets on many alternate Thursdays.

Amongst group members are published, aspiring, and those writers interested in writing occasionally as a hobby. Members’ work includes novels, short stories, poems, plays and children's stories. Contributing to a group anthology is a step towards being published and a stimulating incentive to write.

Typical meetings can include members’ news, opportunities to read and discuss work in progress, themed meetings, short writing exercises or workshops.

We welcome new members to observe and to take part; come along we’re a friendly lot. The main purpose of discussion of work is to encourage and give constructive comments to help the author. We do not criticise; we aim to inspire all writers!
